X Country

On an awesome sunny day last week we had something awesome that I had been waiting for.

Our Cross Country was held on Tuesday 13th August and all of the students of St Pius X Catholic School took part and raced against each other.  Even 10 St Mary’s College girls came to help us. The Seniors ran around the block and finished by the office. The Juniors ran around the field and finished by the big park.

When it was morning tea I wasn’t scared to go and talk to the girls so I went and talked to some of the St Mary girl’s, I met two their names were Zoe and also Liv. They were friendly and playful and they were year 13. I told them my year and then Zoe and Liv said “Wow.” After all of the talking I asked if they wanted to play tag with us and we did until we got tired.

After all of that running and chasing it was time to go   back to class and Miss G said to get changed. I didn’t get changed because I didn’t bring my clothes so I ran in my school clothes.
