Catholic school day

On Catholic School’s day we started off with a beautiful mass then we had lunch and met some St Joseph’s students.

We had a concert after lunch and we sang. First room 7 sang and they sang ‘Let it Go’ and then St Joseph sang ‘Count on Me’ by Bruno Mars and then we sang a Tongan song called ‘Mali, Mali, Mai’. We were next and we sang the cup song and we did the moves and it was very fun.

That was the happiest day of my life and I was very happy to find friends from St Joseph. When it was time to leave we sang ‘Humba Gasle’. When they were going I went to my friend and hugged her, I bet that she will come to our school and play with me again.

Maths Reflection

In my maths this term I am getting to know my numbers a little bit faster and my highest score for adding in Xtra maths is 66. For race the teacher and for the test was 20 smiley faces and for my ticks is 24.

Math whizz is another netbook Maths game.  My usage for this week is 23 minutes and my credits is 534.

What I like about maths is learning something new. We are learning to split numbers into parts instead of counting on with our fingers. I like going on my netbook and learning new things on math websites to and that's why I like maths very much. The best thing about maths is it will help you on your trip of life.

In Addition and Subtraction I am on Stage 4.

My Pencil

Pencils are made with wood, and inside the pencil is a lead and we can draw and write with it.

Some pencils have erasers at the back of them so if we make a mistake we can just turn the pencil around and use it, even we can draw new things with a pencil to.

It is as thin as a felt and a pen and also a paintbrush too. It is as hard as a rock and also it is sharp as a thorn and a needle. We use pencils more than pens and crayons, but sometimes our pencils get blunt like a smudgy mess.

It’s wood and has a lead and we can draw with it and we can create new pictures. You can buy pencils with a rubber at the back and we can write with it. It is very cool to draw with and I love to play with my pencil very much.

My Mother

My Aunty is like a Mother to me because she takes care of me and she is always there for me.

Her hair is as brown as a Chocolate and her eyes are as brown as paper. She does the dishes and she cleans the table and she helps us hang up the clothes. She helps us with our homework and with the work we struggle with. I really love to help her with the cleaning and help her hang up the washing. When we are sad she will think of something that makes us laugh and cheers us up.

My Aunty loves to sing and dance and see us achieving our goals. She likes us to get certificates and get good reports, but what she doesn't like bad reports and bad behavior and getting sent home for having a fight. When we finish our cleaning we always get treats after we clean. When I’m sad she will always hug me and make sure I am alright.

What makes her beautiful is her smile and how she dresses up. The most special thing about her is that she will always be there and she will never ever give me.
